In the spirit of tomorrow’s supposedly landmark Democratic primary, today’s podcast presents WJK’s most memorable political song performed live on 10/28/05. It’s about the frustration of having to drive alongside of folks who drive downtown by themselves in large 10 mpg SUVs. The tide may turn tomorrow and everyone will drive a Prius and downsize their home and America will stop consuming itself into debt and wars will stop being waged over resources, but I doubt it. There’s only so much one black man and/or white woman can do despite all their hope fancytalk and who they’ve slept with for 30 years. Until then, pop a copy of WJK’s SEX into the soundsystem of the old stretch Hummer and wait for the US to invade another country.
