Back in the days when all I could do was “Kra, Kra, Cry” I had me a shiny laptop and I made loop-based ambient compositions with software I had written. Well, you can read in the profile section of our website what happened to that “instrument.” But, sufficed to say, 3-4 guitars and a couple electrical storms later, the Krazy Kra is laptop-composing again. This time using fragments of WJK recordings from the WJK studio.
“Ambient 1” features fragments and whole sections of an improvisation featuring Tim Simmons on hand drums, Glenn Dickson on cymbals & other percussion, Jeremy Carter on a sampler/drum machine, and Nicholas Krapels on an SH-101 Roland keyboard.
